Sheffield Community Land Trust (CLT) has been established to provide genuinely affordable housing and workspaces in Sheffield city centre, through community-led development and non-profit ownership.

Aims:

• To provide genuinely affordable housing and workspaces in Sheffield city centre, through community-led development and non-profit ownership
• To influence policy and decision making to establish a clear understanding of the role that community-led development/CLTs can play in social and economic renewal and housing provision
• To strengthen the capacity of community organisations and gain new investment for community development to deliver against our aims
• To enable people to develop the skills to lead, administer and sustain the future development of the community-led housing sector

Sheffield CLT is part of the National CLT Network. We operate as an open membership organisation, currently including architects, urban designers, activists and artists. We are actively looking for new members, from all backgrounds and circumstances.
