SCLT held a public launch event on Saturday the 12th November 2022, as part of the Festival of Social Science. The day kicked off with a panel discussion between three invited speakers: Dr Tom Archer of CRESA and Sheffield Hallam University; Sarah Ernst of Architype and Darren French, Chair of Heart of Hastings CLT and a Q&A. Talks covered current issues around affordability, housing supply an CLTs as a response to this; low-carbon retrofit; and story of Heart of Hastings and an insight into the way that they operate now. We will be sharing a slides and transcripts of these talks on the blog shortly.

This was followed by an exhibition of retrofit precedent studies, prompts on potential sites and the launch of a public online questionnaire (here) about housing provision to help prove demand.
